Basically everything to do with the meat preparation will need to be done by an adult. as you be using a sharp knife and hot pans. Pork is notorious for spitting while it fries so be prepared (so don't use too much oil, you don't want any big splashes)

In an ideal world you would Boil them for an hour and then bake in the oven for a further 5-6 hours for tender pork ribs, but I have managed to reduce the time down to about 2 hours will maintaining a really tender, juicy meat. You could always drop this time even further by basically just frying the pork over a high heat until cooked through, but this will give you a dry, tough piece of meat. and I wouldn't sacrifice that time.
